Came in for my brother in laws birthday, and the owner went out of his way to make sure we were taken care of. Small spot, but good outdoor seating. All the rolls were very well done, nigiri was great, and the bento boxes seemed to be a terrific value.
The Dragon roll, Blue Hawaiian, & Spider roll were even more delicious than it looked. And it was absolutely stunning to behold! Do yourself a favor and go experience some of the best sushi I have tasted since leaving Okinawa! Also, do not pass up the tempura, its perfection fryed in a delicate, fresh crunch!
Visited at about 4:30pm on a Friday afternoon, and there was no line. Grabbed a table outside to enjoy the summer weather. The owner said we had good timing, since things can get very busy later on. We ordered some gyoza, some California rolls, Shrimp Tempura rolls, and Crunch rolls. Service was prompt and our order arrived quickly. The food was very nicely prepared, good portion sizes, and delicious. Especially enjoyed the sauces! Some of the better Sushi I've had, we'll definitely be coming back here.
Reviews of this place are spot on. My husband and daughter both got the bento box and I had two rolls, the Caterpillar and Hawaiian, pictured with my review. They both loved their boxes and I really loved my rolls too. This small establishment is worth seeking out!
This is my favorite sushi spot in Bellingham. It’s delicious. I almost always get the shrimp tempura appetizer, hot fire roll, and the super dragon roll. The service is 10/10, the owner is very nice and welcoming, and the sushi looks as good as it tastes. Highly recommend!
It was so so cute!! The owner was so sweet and polite! We absolutely demolished our order and it was just an amazing time! Definitely will be visiting again in the future!!!
So so so yummy! I love this place definitely a hidden Bellingham gem. The owner is a very sweet man and prepares all the food himself. If you want good fresh sushi and an amazing experience Jūn’s is your place!!
Excellent gourmet sushi. We tried special rolls: White Dragon, Scallop Baked Roll, Jun's Special Roll, Catapillar Roll, and Tiger Roll. All delicious but especially the first three. We also enjoyed the tempura. Jun makes everything to order. It wasn't a quick visit, but it was definitely worth the wait and price. This restaurant is fairly small, located on Railroad, which has plenty of paid parking meters. (I use a parking app, which is very easy to use. Look for the sign that gives a location code.) Overall, my #1 sushi place in Bellingham. If you like scallops, try the Baked Scallop Roll. Yummy... Previously, I did a take out order. Marvelous!
